Edgar Cayce on the Power of Color, Stones, and CrystalsReviewsHaving lived near Virginia Beach as a child, I admire Cayce's work, and was looking for a book on the qualities popularly ascribed to various semi-precious gemstones in order to be able to tell customers something about various agates and jaspers and lapis and the like if they ask. I was expecting quite a number of stones to be listed and their properties or qualities described, with a clear index. This book must have been produced long after Cayce's death. It only focused on a couple of stones, and was highly repetitive. This is a case of, if I had been able to flip through an actual copy of the book, I would not have wasted my time or money on it because it did not meet my needs in any way. I am not sure what audience WOULD find this information useful, but for someone seeking information on the properties of semi-precious stones, it was worse than useless. Lots of well researched information, great reference tool for gemstones, and color related energy information. Book reflected Cayce's outlooks and presentations, but with less emphasis on spiritually related attributes than I was expecting. Every book on subjects of Cayce's readings are worth having. This one also included some of his research material. With a limited education, but extraordinary abilities, Cayce connects the planets, time, and our bodies through gems, stones and crystals. Everything is vibration. I had limited knowledge of crystals, colors and their healing qualities, so this book was a good place to start. Small paperback, but other than that it is good. Anything on Edgar Cayce is always good. Average Rating:![]() |
