I knew nothing about crystals. This is an exceptional book - author tells you how to use the crystals, and what NOT to do. Easy to read, interesting, and definitely informative. I would recommend it to all "crystal seekers".

This book shows the Native American use of crystals and explains it in a way that is easy to understand

this book is a good book if you want to become a healer in general for he goes over how to transmute energies yes his visions of crystals are a bit odd but they have worked for me.im my eyes this is a must have book to be a crystal healer or to be a healer in general and for those of you who critize this book.i just think half of you people are set on what you learned to begin with and dont know how to put things together he has preached not only native american teaching but beliefs of buddhism hinduism christainity and many more. be more open minded when you look at things for ive noticed what you beleive and have faith in is what works for you in the end.

If you buy 10 books on crystals you'll come up with 10 different things each stone is supposed to do. So I got to thinking, I need to go back to an original source like ancient egypt, african, native american, mayan, etc. This book was more to my liking. Most of the other books advise sea salt for cleansing, this book does not advise it and says why. I was waiting to get some stones to do my natal chart crystal healing and I saw in this book why that was not advisable. It also gave me a clue about "birthstones". Very authentic and I highly recommend. Tried to get it from 4 local city libraries before purchasing but none of them had it yet they had all the more popular books. That really made me want this. Highly recommend.

I am a therapist that employs 13 therapists to provide counseling.I bought this book because I read the previous reviews that stated the book was deeply spiritual, and I was not disappointed. The book explains the importance of clearing and clensing your own spirit if you hope to assist others in the clearing or clensing of theirs, which is a point that many people in our day and age somehow overlook, including therapists. As stated in the other reviews, if you are looking for pictures of layout grids, this book does not cover those areas. If you are looking for a deeper spiritual conection with the energy of stones...the book has great insight. I give it five stars.

This is one of the best books you can read. The auther is fantastic and loads it full of information i could not find anywhere else[i.e.,the stones hardness on the mohs scale.that is hard to find on all crystals}If you have a fasination with crystals, it is a definite read.

Although this book isn't quite as interesting as Crystal Love Secrets, which is unfortunately out of stock, it is still an excellent resource for anyone interested in crystals and practical applications towards everyday life. Overall, a complete and accurate guide - excellent for beginners.

If you are a fan of tiny books filled with wisdom, you will love the "Secrets Series." Each book is beautifully illustrated and has "31" thoughts/quotes. The idea is to read a selection and then read it again at various points during the day until it is absorbed into your subconscious. "Secrets of Emotional Healing," deals with how to overcome anger, anxiety, depression, discouragement, loneliness, unkindness, hurt feelings, cynicism, bitterness, dependence on others, discontentment, doubt, mental dullness, fearfulness, feelings of guilt, greed, irritation, negativity, insecurity, jealousy, conceit, resentment, self-pity, low self-esteem, fear of failure and fear of death. My favorite quote on day five is: "The secret of overcoming depression is to affirm mentally, 'I am not my moods, and I am not subject to the moods of others. I am ruler in my kingdom of thoughts and feelings!' In everything you do, strive to be a cause, not an effect." When put into practice, this "seed of thought" can become a rather powerful and stabilizing force. Words contain a power and unfortunately many of us talk to ourselves in a way that brings negative results. This book has already helped me to think more positively. It provides a sense of freedom from those controlling thoughts with which our minds try to destroy us. If you feel that you need to incorporate more positive thinking patterns into your day, this is a beautiful gift to yourself. I also think this would be quite a thoughtful gift for a friend or relative who is attempting to overcome negative thought patterns. Keep this tiny book in your pocket and when you feel a negative emotion trying to control you, look up the specific "secret" and repeat it to yourself until you break free from the chains of your negative thinking.
